Homoeopathy - The Last Resort

____________________________________________________

Have you ever heard someone say when they've found something that they'd lost that it was the last place they'd think of looking?

We know there's a simple explanation for this -

You don't carry on looking for something once you've found it, do you?

People often regard homoeopathy as the last resort. In fact there's a medical nemonic - T.E.E.T.H - Tried Everything Else, Try Homoeopathy!

But... The reason homoeopathy is the last resort is the same as when you've found something that you've lost...

Once you've found health and healing, why would you need to look any further?

Maybe homeopathy observes more "successes" because people usually approach homeopaths for less serious conditions; NLP has also been shown to have strong positive effects with regards to athsma suffers for example. The power of the mind in healing and the resolution of real physical problems should never be underestimated.

Have any studies actually been done to show that more people stop seeking a solution to a problem after using homeopathy than they do either 1. just giving up, 2. going back to a medical professional or 3. trying some other alternative? And of course, for the sake of objectivity we don't want any studies conducted by either homeopaths or pharmaceutical companies, to avoid any confirmation bias...!
